Working invisible detectorThere are users who are writing on the support page that the detector is having some problems or that it gives back on rare ocasions false results. First of all, it is recommended to read how the Yahoo detector is working. There are only limited cases, which occur extremely rarely, when the detector doesn’t work properly.

I find it amusing when I see and know that all detectors are working on the exact same principles and exploit the same vulnerabilities of Yahoo servers, and even so, many reach out to affiliate programs of large detectors, they rapidly create a website and simply start spamming blogs that their detector is the best working one. I know that Imvisible offers a high quality affiliate program and also it is free, but I am really amused when I see the competition with huge yahoo detector working 100% ads, but they have the exact same limitation as others, granted they are few, but they still have it. These are the ones who believe that if they don’t create a contact page, if they don’t answer to people, they are perfect and their second hand websites are the best.

Yes, under these circumstances we can say it out loud IMvisible is working 100% correct.

You say your detector is working 100% but I have tried it on three of my friends that I KNOW are on line and it tells me each of them is offline, as well as myself. How is this working 100%?

If you read carefully the entire article, in the first sentence you can find “detector is having some problems or that it gives back on rare ocasions false results.” with a link where we explain those situations.

      • Invisible Yahoo Detector on April 30, 2012

        In this moment, no

    • Mary on June 4, 2012

My detector has not updated since 1659 this afternoon. It tells me currently the person is offline, doesn’t list if they were invisible or online.

When I check ID detector it says, “Servers Busy” all day…

    • […] About the robots it is worth to specify one single aspect that is very tightly tied to the false status that the detector sometimes can give back. The robots connect to several Yahoo servers, and some of these differ from one another from the protocols and installed applications’ point of view. Simply put, on some Yahoo servers the vulnerability is simply not working any more. When it comes to the change of packages between the two messenger IDs, on some servers the answer is not the “standard” one, or the one expected. This implicitly leads to a false result. Luckily these servers are very few, which leads us to our conclusion, if other detectors are saying it and they are giving back even more false results than IMvisible, that the yahoo detect is working 100%. Imvisible detector wasn’t worked in the last few days. Any idea why ?

      • Invisible Yahoo Detector on January 31, 2013

Sorry for inconvenience, we worked a lot in order to fix the detector. Now it’s working properly 100%, and we’re the only detector out there witch is working.

    • Stu Lewis on February 2, 2013

      Not working now.

    • Stu Lewis on February 15, 2013

      Still dead.
Maybe yahoo fixed it now so no scanner can detect anymore

    • Maria on April 22, 2013

      is the detector working 100%?

      • Invisible Yahoo Detector on April 23, 2013

Yes 😉 Good luck using it.

    • Joan on April 23, 2013

No. It still shows me as “online” when I am invisible or “offline” when I am invisible. The only time its correct is when I am actually online it shows me online. It never shows my status as invisible, even when Im signed into my phone.

    • Vivien on May 20, 2013

Is the detector working? I keep getting offline for everyone the last few days.

    • Joan on May 24, 2013

Nope, its NOT working, nor is ydetector or jdetector working. It always shows me off line whether I am on line or invisible! I miss having it working….cant you fix it??

      • Invisible Yahoo Detector on June 4, 2013

        We’re working to fix it.

    • me on June 23, 2013

Will you guys send out a mass email once it’s fixed? I enjoyed using your services but don’t want to pay until I know it’s actually working!

      • Invisible Yahoo Detector on June 28, 2013

We’ll do that, we’ll send a newsletter when it’s fixed.

    • simone on June 25, 2013

each time i click this the status i am checking changes…i dont know what to believe anymore
i hit once and it said offline, i clicked again and invisible then again offline…and so on
      its very confusing.

      • Invisible Yahoo Detector on June 28, 2013

Since Yahoo changed something on it’s protocol our detector success rate has been affected. We’re working to fix it.

    • Anonymous on July 31, 2013

Can’t see any avatar from yahoo anymore (I understand that yahoo changed something)… Is there any chance to fix this soon? Thank U … All the best!!!

      • Invisible Yahoo Detector on October 25, 2013

        It’s working properly

    • violet on October 28, 2013

working completely, invisible status and all or just the avatars?

    • Ian N on December 5, 2013

I’ve trawled around the net trying out a lot of Yahoo detector sites. There are some that seem to work better than others. This site is no longer one of the best. There are many sites out there that seem to be more reliable at advising someones status and also update the avatars as they change. From what I have found though none are 100% accurate any more. I’m not saying this as a criticism. I am just a user and don’t have the technical knowledge to even begin to understand how these sites work. I’m just saying what I’ve observed as a user.

    • mememe on January 21, 2014

I’ve tried this on my own ID and a friends when we were actually online and the status cam up ‘offline’. Other instances it would show ‘invisible’ then offline. Nothing is perfect and net security changes constantly I’m sure but sorry, i don’t feel this is really a ‘must have ‘ tool for poking at privacy especially if its not accurate.

    • mememe on January 21, 2014

      *poking at privacy….(i’m so embarrassed..lol)
